Claire's 25 year career in travel is a varied and exciting one. A history graduate, cum laude, armed with the coveted professional 'Blue Badge' of the Tourist Board, she has travelled the world as a Tour Manager.

• In 1984, the world's largest motivation company invited her to launch a new UK department, where she developed outstanding and innovative events for top European companies.
  
  
• At the end of the 1980s, she was both co-ordinator and producer for a musical adaptation of "Wuthering Heights", featuring soprano Lesley Garrett.
  
  
• In the early 1990s, she worked as a consultant for Shell on Quality Management and Performance Improvement programmes.
  
  
• In 1991, Claire was invited to join The Theatre Division Limited, a production company, headed by Biddy Hayward, one of the founder directors of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group. This enabled her to work on major productions alongside top production staff of today's West End Theatre.
  
  
• For the last five years Claire has been the Director of the Alumni College of Great Britain.
