On the Duchy Club Classic Tour you will have a private viewing of this most splendid exhibition crowned by the return of the newly restored Chippendale bed to Harewood House. Thomas Chippendale, a local man, was commissioned to create a range of furniture for the mansion. Here you see it in the rooms for which it was designed. He was destined to become a world famous master craftsman, and the furniture and the style he created proudly bear his name. This exhibition celebrates an unrivalled and extensive collection of his art.
